We're proud to support local community initiatives and wider charitable work. We give our people the opportunity to suggest ideas for volunteering and fundraising, and to get involved in Bovill Newgate-supported initiatives.
Bovill Newgate is delighted to be working with Young Futures to support and develop initiatives that help young care leavers enhance their life-skills. At the moment we’re working on projects to help their current cohort of young people and to develop future best practice for all care leavers.
Young Futures is a South London based Community Interest Company. They are committed to helping care-leavers, and those preparing to leave care, overcome adversity and trauma and build happy, meaningful lives.
They support the difficult transition to adulthood and independent living by providing high-quality accommodation which is fully integrated with practical and therapeutic support.
Today, the 75,000 vulnerable children and young people looked after by local authorities in children’s homes or foster placements often face a bleak outlook when they leave care.
They are amongst the most disadvantaged in society, most having suffered serious abuse or trauma in early life.
