Anthony brings over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry and is responsible for MAS licence applications, in particular for firms that intend to deal in capital markets products. He also provides regulatory advice relating to MAS’ requirements of various capital markets intermediaries.
Before joining Bovill Newgate, Anthony worked for the MAS where he supervised capital markets intermediaries, assessed licence applications from new financial institutions, including entities that offer digital securities, and conducted onsite examinations. Anthony also worked for an Investment Bank in Singapore, where he managed the trade life cycle processes for the EM Asia Rates business, and mandatory reporting of IRS trades. Early on in his career at the bank, he was also involved in the Lehman default management process.
Anthony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sheffield (UK) and a Master’s degree in Mathematical Finance from the University of York (UK).
